The Keychron K3 is a compact 75% layout (84-keys) white backlight Bluetooth mechanical keyboard engineered for Mac and Windows. The K3 is crafted to maximize your workspace and enhance productivity.

With a unique Mac layout, the K3 has all the necessary multimedia and function keys while still being compatible with Windows, K3 also provides two reliable connection modes, wireless and wired.

Low-profile Gateron mechanical brown switch

The redesigned low-profile Gateron mechanical switch is 40% slimmer than conventional switches with a shorter pre-travel and total travel distance that triggers an input and feedback faster than conventional/normal-profile mechanical switches, and providing a nice tactile feeling on the Brown switch.

FAQ

Troubleshoot Bluetooth connectivity:

• Check if the keyboard works with another device via Bluetooth, e.g.: Cell phone or iPad.
• Try bluetooth connection with your cellphone/another computer and see if it works? Or try to pair with other channels by pressing Fn+2 or Fn+3.
• Factory reset to your keyboard by pressing Fn+Z+J for 4 seconds

For Mac:

• Reset Bluetooth driver, you can Google “Tips and tricks to fix Bluetooth connection issues on Mac” by 9to5Mac or “Resolve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues caused by wireless interference” by Apple.

For Windows:

• Check if there is a Bluetooth antenna on your PC.
• Uncheck the “allow the computer to turn off keyboard to save power" in power management under device manager.
• Reinstall the drivers of your Windows PC if you are a Windows user.

Bluetooth re-connection is too slow to wake up the keyboard from auto-sleep.

• You can disable the auto-sleep mode pressing fn+S+O for four seconds. Wireless signals can sometimes be unstable, it may take more time full stop for the keyboard to reconnect with your device wirelessly, please be patient.

Typing experience of the switch is not as expected.

• The low-profile switch has a lower height or thinner body, it will trigger a keystroke faster than conventional normal profile switch.
